Therapeutic Riding
Galloping Acres Foundation is
co-sponsored by
Hanover County Parks and Recreation. This program is taught six weeks in the
fall and two six week sessions in the Spring. Our program is offered to children with
some cognitive, physical, or emotional disabilities. The children are taught by
Mary Helen Crowder and Shannon Lawson, who are NARHA Certified Instructors. They
will also experience a wide range of benefits from increased flexibility and
better balance to greater confidence and self esteem. We are also a NARHA
member center.
Make a difference in someone’s Life
There
are many ways that you can make a difference and help the Galloping Acres Foundation,
Inc. in its continuing commitment to providing therapeutic riding to the
community. Volunteer to help us on-site, contribute a monetary donation and/or
provide us with much needed assistance through our Wish List.
Galloping Acres Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit foundation. Through the
generosity of people like you, Galloping Acres is able to continue providing
these valuable services to the community. Monetary donations are used to provide
scholarships and buy additional equipment. Donations of any size are warmly
accepted.
